1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Index Scanner mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. The App is operated by Blue Almond, based in Warsaw, Poland ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
Index Scanner is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos uploaded by users and provides information about the food and its glycemic index. The App is available on iOS and Android platforms.
3. Account Registration
To use the App, you must create an account using your email address, Google Single Sign-On (SSO), or Apple SSO. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Free Trial and Subscription
The App offers three (3) free scans upon registration. After using these free scans, you will need to purchase a subscription through the App Store or Google Play Store to continue using the App's services. Subscription terms and pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable EU regulations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
6. User Content
By uploading food photos to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process the photos solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we will not use your photos or other user data for any other purposes.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by [Your Company Name] and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Limitation of Liability

You may request to delete your account at any time through the App. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information from our active databases, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain data.

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Warsaw, Poland.
